On a daily basis, hoods and fenders get torn off, by people pulling out of spaces that they backed into. How often does anyone hear of a truck backing over something, getting out of a parking space? Rarely.

I have ZERO problem with some one nosing into a spot that they can straight line out of, but when its a spot like that that is practically impossible it really pisses me off to see it. But thats just my opinion. -
Just like "keeping up with the Jones" in neighborhoods, "monkey see, monkey do" is all over trucking. Like Lemmings, if one driver drove off a cliff there would be 2 or 3 behind him.

Back in or pull in a driver is always responsible once those brakes are released, backing out is not as dangerous if you look ahead more than at the moment.TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
I can back in and pull in, never once tagged anyone else or damaged anything. Not an expert in any way shape or form but have enough miles and years driving tractor trailer and over size, over weight and over dimensional with a spotless driving record.
Before the CDL requirements were enabled we had chauffeur license, being a holder of a commercial license since 1977 I get a laugh out of people that have less safe miles than my work boots judging people. Nothing personal or no harm intended but judging others because they do things a little different is not doing you any good.DrtyDiesel, Azcannon, ShootThis and 2 others Thank this. -

But if it is less then 30 degrees or more then 70 degrees then I will not moan about somone running their truck at night. I will just adjust my parking style so that I can sleep. -
