Not a fan of "Report a BAD trucking company" category

I agree with you there is crappy companies and crappy drivers.. I was just playing devils advocate.. My point is there is always more to the story then what you get from someone who is pissed off.

 

This gives the driver a place to vent an tell his side of the story. Sure some people blame the company when it's there fault sometimes but most of the time you can read between the lines an see that for yourself.
I think this whole site in general is a great source of information to all drivers. If I want to know info on a certain company or anything about trucking in general this is where I usually start.

Generally you can decipher the legitimate complaints from the cry baby complaints...

I can accept that you were playing devil's advocate, encouraging people to see both sides, but the original poster was quite clear about objecting to all such threads here, HATING them in fact, and labeling the drivers who participate in them as disgruntled. No acknowledgement in his post at all of a legitimate function for this section.

There are situations where drivers are unquestionably out of line, and their behavior should not be covered up or kept secret.
The same applies to some companies, who incidentally are in a much better position to continue their unsafe or dishonest practices than any individual driver is.

 

Well, I found one CR Thread in the "favorite company" section so far, but it was started by a CR recruiter posing to be a regular driver. LOL shows how crappy they are, a good company would never have to resort to that. Word of mouth alone would recruit for them.

 

I think the fair thing to do is open a section for companies to report bad drivers.
