Why? They have millions lined up around the block to work for them. Think this matters?

i feel you brother, I found must "don't work form this company" threads are more the driver problem than the company problem, as in the one who posted about how bad Melton is because they have back up alarms on their trucks, grown men/women with child like tantrums, JMO

It seems like the more bad reporting that takes place the more drivers line up to work for said company.

This site does a good job keeping people honest, getting the whole story, weeding out the scammers and posers, getting the real story, and calling a duck a duck. Only a few threads in the year and a half I've posted here were the majority of posters conned by someone. Usually they root out the truth, expose dishonesty, and point the finger squarly in the right direction.
One thing I learned here real quick. Don't lie, sugar coat or over simplify. You will be asked, even demanded, to give more details. They are good at seeing lies, and really good at getting the whole
    story.
If you had a good story about your company... Tell it.

The OP got all outraged with some responses. I didn't see what he was talking about. Maybe he read posts with a preconceived idea on what those responses would be. It's hard to read tonality and feeling in a post.

Totally agree. I think some people come on here and forget that this site is full of actual truckers. ...Imagine that!
You spout of some crap it will be called out.

I've always had the opinion that in the trucking industry there are as many arrangements as there are trucking companies,....and within those companies there are even more different arrangements depending on a wide range of variables. I was once commenting that I couldn't understand how anyone could work for a certain company when an older driver corrected me explaining that just because that job was not good for me doesn't mean it's not a good deal for the guy driving for them....maybe better than any other job they could get.

Still, I think you can look for certain things being mentioned over and over about a company in this forum that might cause you to question what kind of company they are and maybe dig further before signing on.
