not a single load posted out of MD....

    Not a single load posted out of MD bound for ON or QC. 4 out of NY and only 5 out of PA. Wow. Don't remember seeing that before.

    Manufacturing activity is the lowest in 3 years. They better come up with a good solution to the fiscal cliff or this could be the norm for the next year.

    I was hoping it was power outages, shutdowns and depleted parts inventories related to Sandy working its' way through the assembly system.

    I have noticed many fewer loads to and from Houston as well. Seems like line haul prices are coming down also. This is worrisome as I just bought a new truck.
