Now we get into how many miles of roads were limited to 55, 60, 70, or 1837 miles per hour.

The original post spelled it out. 653 miles in 10 hours AND 55 minutes. That's 10.92 hours (rounded). 653 miles divided by 10.92 hours = 59.79 mph. That leaves almost zero time for anything other than driving. His pickup and delivery spots must have been pretty close to the interstate and his directions were probably good.
