The other thing they told me is that they would give one warning for an electronics violation. Guess they don't have to....but still...this is pretty ####ty

If this allegation is true then Schneider is no better than the likes of C.R. England. If you play this type of dirty pool, then yes, you DO suck.

At this point it doesn't matter so I will ask publicly.

Does your name signify your real first name, last initial, and year of birth?

If so, then that's likely how they identified you. Answer privately if you prefer.

If I didn't mind leaving enough information on here publicly to hint to my real name I have no problem responding to you in public as well. My screen name on here is what Schneider used in the process of elimination to identify me. It is my first name and initial and birth date, and they obviously cross referenced that to their information on file to identify who I really am. And this is the process that they followed in their procedure to officially terminate me.

I know it's probably not smart to leave identity of myself on The Truckers Report, but really, is it any different if I posted this on a Facebook page or other form of online social media format? Reviewing my posting history I think you can see I've been both complimentary and critical of Schneider National without going over the top in either direction. I have 2400+ posts on here as a Schneider driver.

My motivation for making the post where I admitted to attempting to book a load while driving was to bring to every ones attention the safety repercussions of recent changes made to the Schneider Choice program where they sent load availability notifications TO OUR MOBILE QUALCOMM UNIT (which in of itself could be interpreted as a DRIVER DISTRACTION). I have nothing further to comment on this matter at this point. If TTR would like further information for whatever reason I'll be glad to provide it.

Plain and simple it's your fault.
Don't get me wrong it sucks..you should have NEVER admitted it.
You didn't have to set up the notification to beep you..it was YOUR choice.
YOU decided to book the load driving and then decided to post here for everyone to see.

    Remember LESS is MORE.
You don't have to share everything.

Good Luck to you in your next gig.

I have to agree with Dogal. I admitted to it, I should have denied it. There is the ideal world, and then there is reality. The honesty and the truth have no place at Schneider National, or for pretty much most place anywhere.

I've worked in accounting, insurance and business my whole life. Accountability is kicked to the curb while directing blame elsewhere is the way to keep your job. I should expect nothing different for any business entity anywhere.
