If you are going home, you can refuse the empty move without a fine. But when you come back out you will have to go back to previous drop to get an empty or receive the fine. How far away were you to the house?

Good luck everyone who hasn't signed the new contract yet. I'm done with Schneider, wrote my termination letter already and giving them 2 weeks. Everything started good and had an alright 8 months as an IC. I had good times and I had bad times with customer service stuff and too much micromanaging made me annoyed. Finally they announced their new contract which I call forced agreement and I fully decided to leave. So, good luck to you guys both who signed or not signed with Schneider.

Nice, I would really like to know how well you do over there. I'm toying with the idea of getting my authority and a trailer and going there after the first of the year.

Landstar seems like the last step before getting your own authority. People who I talked from Landstar told me exact same info. Their business model is completely independent. So, I would like to learn this part first and whenever I feel comfortable dealing with agents and do everything by myself then I would definitely go get my own authority.
