I wonder if that means going to be more loads available?...only time will tell

That would be in section 17, the same section that talks about the $250 repositioning fee. Last paragraph second sentence: "Removed because of confidentiality clause". Just read the last paragraph of that section.

I routinly book loads over 100 miles away from my last delivery, mainly because they pay better then the ones within a 100 miles. So yes I am concerned about how this will play out.

I've been told the same thing, but they don't really say what they mean by communicate. If I pick that doesn't that mean I communicated I plan to deadhead thar far or do they want a phone call every time to explain why Ipicked that load?

They thing is, what they say and what the contract say are two different things. When it comes down to it, all they'll say is, "it's in the contract you signed."

Do as I say, not what I do!

Does anyone think they would enforce any of the new contract before 12 October and chance word spreading before the contract has been signed by majority if drivers.

I say the enforcement will be gradual and selective until everyone has relaxed then it will be used as a tool to get contractors to do as told or leave.

Wait I've been told by my ICA NOT ICR maybe I don't fit their Business Model.

Why should any of us believe what we're told and not what we sign?

Eh. And if it comes to where it affects my business I have no problem going somewhere else whether I use their truck or turn it in and finance on my own. Speculating on what might happen dosent really do me any good until it actually happens

    Two things could happen

    1. Things continue as normal, they end up only charging I/C's that erk them off

    Or

    2. Oct 10th becomes money grab day and they enforce it with a iron hammer.

Lets face it, Any company is in business for profit and make money. They are going to do whatever helps their bottom line, not yours.

As a famous saying I heard time and time again. It's nothing personal, Just good business.
