Not necessarily to please my ICA.

Just not to be the guy that he thinks is a PIA.

That way when I'm in a situation and need some give from SNI, I'll be more likely to get it.

It's part of being in a business relationship, especially when the other party is holding 95% of the deck.

I dont agree with one point here. I started to work with Landstar and we all know it doesn't matter which company you go for, you not gonna be millionaire with driving a one truck. For example, somethings that bother me might not bother someone else and vice versa. Its all about finding something that works for you. Im not saying this company or that company is better than Schneider. But personally Landstar customer service and operation are smoother and are of a higher quality than Schneider. Again this is for me, and might not be true for someone else.

I'm not talking about the service.. I'm talking money wise... My personal experience at SNi was rather smooth. A few instances where I may have had to stand firm on certain things but smooth nonetheless..

LS having better CS and operations than SNI isn't exactly saying much for LS.

First of all I haven't been with Landstar long enough to comment on anything other than their customer service and operation system. But, those are two things that help me properly run my business. If you happy with what you are doing at Schneider then good for you. I was not and left.

8 months as an IC, and year as a company driver before being an IC. I was satisfied with Schneider when I was company driver. I already explained actually in this page. It was not money wise, it was dealing with customer service, ICA and stuff plus micromanaging and how they treat people etc etc.. been Landstar for less than a month thats why I cant say too much about them. So far I like their customer service and operations.

It's all about being happy with what you do. SNI works for some, others not so much. As of now, I fall into the not so much category.
