Did you finance a brand new $155,000 piece of equipment? Did you put up collateral? How many years experience as an o/o?

Yes Yes and 37 years, but I NEVER leased or purchased from a carrier and the bank or finance company never dictated where I could go. That said I don't care enough about you or your lease, like I said try to leave and see what happens.

Just do what I did. Turn in the lease truck go get your own. If you don't have the money to put down on a different truck, try quality leasing.

Sure you get fined for cutting lease and if you don't take the truck to GB or Charlotte they charge you a relocation fee, but I had enough in my maintenance account to cover it. Maybe a bad way to do it but, I could careless, I'm not under their restrain.

Whats the fee for cutting the lease? I'm 4 months into the lease and if this new contract turns out to be the way everybody is describing it, I may just pay the fine and get the hell out.

I honestly don't know, I just told my lease rep what I was doing. She told me there will be a penalty for cutting lease and a relocation fee. I told her to take it out of my maintenance account.

As a lowlife company boogereatinmoron I really don't have any skin in this discussion, but don't you guys fall under a 1099 with SNI? I may be way off, but as I understand it, the company can't tell you where to go if I read that part correct, therefore that would mean they can't tell you to drop a company empty where THEY want you to. Skool me if I'm wrong, but I think Sadwar living in NY knows about this law

So, you put up collateral, which secures your banks position and you wonder why they don't care what you do with your truck?

You have plenty of experience, further securing your banks position, but don't see things from the perspective of a financier in todays economy?

If you don't care, why are you here?

I don't now, nor have I ever been worried about taking the truck I am currently leasing with me if I so choose to go anywhere else, its a rental.

I do know some who have though... so take your attempts to educate over to CR England, I'm sure they would appreciate it.
