I heard lol.. Well I'll be back next week or so.. My ICA said the way I used to run I shouldn't have any issues with trailers. I ran from Southeast to Texas and back then up to PA..I never had issues getting home or looking for trailers between loads. Hopefully I don't start now
Not coming to Schneider at this time.

Been waiting awhile.. Really not up for flatbed...I miss my home time and steady running lanes.. This spot market freight can get you really frustrated.. That's why I see guys that were wanting to leave sni to go elsewhere and pull van and thought to myself y'all are gonna run in circles..
drvrtech77 and TennMan Thank this. -
I know the box planners are sending me further to get an empty when I leave the house. But for now not much I can do.

When I was there I usually picked up 30 miles from my house.. It got to the point where I knew HD would let me bobtail in so sni would let me bobtail in everyweek.. It was cool for me I don't know how the lanes are now but I'll soon find out..

Some drivers choose to bobtail into shippers and that leaves the trailer shortage. They choose to do this to cut down on fuel costs so they bobtail further for the load to stay on the better freight but that leaves a trailer shortage in some areas such as the Northeast and upper midwest.
It's a pain and an additional cost that sni has figured out how to get the IC to absorb.
There's some on here who will say it's been no change since new contract but then again maybe it's just me.....
It's tougher to do good revenue now than before but it's doable.
Sni grew the program to fast and lowered the standards to boot.scythe08 and clyde garland Thank this. -
Yeah that or "locations" in route that you know doesn't ship that always has empties.
Problem is more often than not Schneider will send you to a place worse than you could have figured out on your own.
No reason to bobtail from a customer that doesn't ship loads and has empties to go take one away from a shipper instead. That's just dumb. Schneider could be wanting to leave empties there for company drivers while sending you on a wild goose chase, that's the only reason I can think of why they'd do such things.
I don't play along with those silly games...drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
Best of luck to you @duddie Oh and sorry about that mistake.
