Batch plants I've been going to have "high-lights" and buzzers that go off when the slio is getting full.

Also, been offloading a duplex load so there's a timing sequence involved, pump for so long stop and run air for so long, then start again with second product. So I look at my cell for timing during that part, and do it right in front of site personnel. They'd probably worry if I didn't.

But other than that it's zipped in a pocket, and I'm concentrating on work. And it would be in the cab if I didn't need it for timing.

At one plant the yard guy was telling me a story about how a driver was sitting in the cab looking at his phone while offloading. He came up to the door, banged on it, driver looks down. "You know your tank blew, right?"

Another good one is if you see a liquid tanker unloading with a guy dozing in the cab, run up and beat on the door and ask him where the emergency shutoff its.

The driver could have also been awake enough to shut down once the cloud of cement started blowing all over the place..

I saw the fallout the next morning. The wind was blowing the cement more away from the silo. Yes there was a bit covering the truck. Also he did lose his job because he did go to sleep. Just not expecting to have a full silo. Chet also could sleep through a nuclear war.

No, it was waste water and byproduct. I'm actually glad I wasn't stuck doing tanker and being around the constant smelly odor of sites I'd be going to.

Sadly it's because there are a huge number of drivers that are low life garbage. Imagine all the poor people working in shipping and receiving that have to deal with these Yahoo's .

Also the reason they are " able to get away with it" (lying on App) is like stated the are only jumping around and applying to scumbag megas.

I'd rather be addicted to phones than addicted to cigarettes
