Even after finishing Swift's "Top Gun" school -- I would not put that driver on a dollar store type account.
Find a "big box" account, instead -- or just do OTR.
There's usually more money with OTR jobs anyway (vs local or regional), with truckload carriers.

I shot this picture above -- of a Swift tractor -- pulling a Walmart load.
Obviously -- if you drove for Swift -- it's conceivable that you could at some point work your way over to an acct like this one.
With those other fleets -- I've never seen them pull Walmart trailers.
Just some more food for thought....
-- LJames G Thanks this. -
Counterpoint:
Marten Transport is apparently a good fleet to drive for -- but at 6 months, if you are in fact pulling loads for Walmart (or will be, soon) with Swift -- I would indeed stay there.
That's a sweet gig, especially for a new(er) driver.
And the experience/general working conditions that you'd be getting is arguably some of the best that you could reasonably ask for -- anywhere.

Chinatown Thanks this.

But -- I've never SEEN them doing such.
There's a difference.
If I haven't seen them doing so -- they must not be major players in that world.
For the OP -- we've already discussed "the Pumpkin"....& Crete/Shaffer generally/usually don't hire total rookies.
Marten wants (at least) 6 months experience -- thus...not a beginner carrier, either.
US Express?
"Well, do ya feel lucky?"

But around here....not so much.

The OP is on the verge of losing his home, so can't afford to fart around with his pay. -
