To the op..since you got towed from the scene, mark my word a company will find that out..with a tow from an accident usually means also substantial damage to equipment also..being upfront with a company will typically get you further than lying…lying especially about dot reportable accidents will almost certainly get your app thrown in the garbage…those accidents they will discover..honesty is the best policy.

Sounds like what we need to do with all our politicians. They all lie, and they all steal.

One key thing... is you MVR clean?

We're not a big company, but we do our due diligence just like everyone else. A PSP only costs $10, but if it could save the potential headache of ONE bad hire, its well worth the price. We, along with most places, will run:
    MVR
    PSP
    HireRight Employment History
    FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
3 year D&A, Accident, and Employment Date verifications

Here's the relevant info you seek, and why you WILL be caught omitting the safety issue: 49 CFR § 391.23 - Investigation and inquiries.
