Okay, I have seen a a lot of of threads concerining CRST and there contracts. This is my second time around in 18 years with them because I went into driving concrete mixers for about 12 years. I wanted to get back into semis but was told I needed recent experience. No problem with CRST other than the kook doctor gave me a 6 month CDL medical with them because I needed a sleep apnea test. So I ran hard and forgot to get the test on time. CRST put me out of service. Being a vet, I could not get a test until November 16th 2013 with the VA. CRST will not let release info about my driving with them for six months and I am still under contract with them until November 12th. How can they get away with this? Their safety department put me " Out Of Service"!!!! Just seems unfair too me to deny the right to work for another company. I know they do not give a crap since no one will return my phone calls.
Not Really New But???

Can not find a phone number for a IOWA Labor Board. Is there such a beast???
-
It should be Iowa Department of Labor. If you google that, there is a phone number toward the bottom left, try that number, if that is not correct they should be able to tell you which number you need.wesomatic Thanks this.

Or your State Attorney general! The States AG will get their attention! I wish you luck.

Unless I'm missing something in the situation that you didn't post, this seems to be your fault. You, whether necessary or not, were designated to need a sleep apnea test, and you ignored it. What did you think would happen? I'd suggest getting the problem taken care of properly before calling state labor boards. Would another company even take you in this situation?
