When I first got my authority I might have thought something of that,
But after having police and inspectors lie and only get caught when I drug them through the administrative court I could careless what they say anymore.
The first thing I think of when I read a regulation now is how is the best way to twist it to my advantage.
Best lie I heard was from indiana police . I asked officer how do you get a vehicle violation out of a driver only inspection? The answer was;" we're the police we can do that". Needless to say when I filed motion to arrest officer that ticket was quickly dismissed. As long as sheeple comply they will continue to make more "cures" for non existent problems. Just count up all the hours you are gone and divide it by the money you make ?
you will see then you are putting up with way to much for pennies. I was going to lease on a guy had him fill out the application looked at it put it my file asked him did he kill his former employer and when he said no the interview was over he worked ok but didn't like being away from home so it didn't work out.
If you haven't figured it out I have a very low opinion of the whole trucking industry in general took near nine years to get here. Only thing I have to show is three old trucks, two trailers , 30 extra pounds and set of hemorrhoids, I wish could be put on obama and the liberals face without me attached to them.
Not reporting a previous employer?

I just got on with another company after being with the previous one for two weeks.
Apart from adding a "not at fault" accident in my POV, the process with my current company went off without a hitch and so far, my first day went well and no other issues to be called in on.
Then again, the milk thing is still going strong out here and hopping from outfit-to-outfit in town seems to be rather expected.
At the same time, I did get calls from three other, local-driving gigs from out-of-state(TX, OR, and AZ) I applied to after my firing a month ago.
But I politely told them that I wanted to get some time in with the current place before leaving again.
Needless to say, they understood that and told me to just keep them posted whenever I'm ready to go.
Eastern NM has been so-so, but it's long past time to move on from this area.moloko Thanks this. -
Also, if you leave it off, it seems like you are hiding something... It almost always shows up somewhere. On the PSP, or the DAC, or on some report.
Finally, if we (the company) get audited, and we are shown to have not verified all previous employment for you, WE are in violation.
Not to mention all the other paperwork that is involved with releases and such... just keep it accurate.Last edited: Oct 9, 2015

Unless you tell on yourself ? (this is the biggest problem with people now inability to remain silent)
Not everyone waste money on psp or dac just lazy big companies .
This is the problem with most people is they don't understand the difference between
Law and regulations . most of what fmsca spews out is regulations which aren't approved by congress meaning they are not law and can be challenged for any number of reasons.
Regulations are written by people who sit around all day and think how to get
the sheeple to open their wallet without question.
The mentality of most now is if the government ask for something your blindly supposed to submit.
When I'm king the lions will be well fed.rocknroll81 Thanks this. -
If a company isn't pulling your PSP or DAC - you should be very worried about the type of company you are about to work for, and the people you are working with.
Sheeple indeed. Those suckers probably let the DOT inspect their trucks too! Idiots! -
Had the little audit thing and had an IRP IFTA audit last year they claimed I owed a 150 dollars.
we're still fighting over that 150 dollars as I claim it's their fault they have probably spent several thousand trying to collect 150 dollars and I still have an irp plate and ifta.
So I put what I say into action unlike those who exhibit your attitude and submit like a sheeple.
As to using dac or psp why would anyone other than an idiot use a system that has been proven in court to be unreliable and non factual on data they use. How many suits have they lost for bad data on drivers ?
What I did the last time I went to hire/lease someone had an app filled out filed it away
sent to drug test .
Then handed them the keys.
What I look for is someone who does a proper pre trip, load securement, good mvr
and I have good feeling won't cost me money.
The problem now with working someone is the cost of insurance. and how easily they cancel policies now.. Trucking is on a downhill slide mainly due to the sheeple who will lay down and let government
and big companies wipe their feet on them.rocknroll81 Thanks this. -
Great job! -
Also, again, some companies are bad. Some companies are pissed when drivers leave and say bad things. So the DAC is helpful in establishing patterns. One company saying bad things is expected. If you reject a good driver based on what 'XYZ Trucking' says about him alone, your are an idiot, and a bad hiring manager. But if 3 companies saying the same thing? (Can't back, Safety Violations, cargo loss, etc) That is a pattern and that is what "I" am looking for on those reports. Or on the PSP - if you have the same violation at every inspection, I am at least going to ask about it when we chat!
-
And how can they prove I didn't or at least didn't try to verify information ?
When people open their eyes and realize they are their own worst enemy and work to change that things become clearer. Just so you everyone knows I do operate safely and maintain my equipment.
It's old but it's paid for. Regulations is the way agencies circumvent the law by not enacting laws
because a lot of it doesn't meet constitutional scrutiny IMO.
Let me put something here for everyone who reads it to think about ?
Since Constitutionally speaking everyone is equal under the eyes of the law how do these
big carriers apply for exemptions to the regulations get them and the rest of us can't ??
I have used this very argument in a bankruptcy proceeding before, where the court was trying to cheat certain creditors and not others. -
The company you apply to is required to verify your employment for 3 years and 10 years if it was driving jobs. The company that fired you cannot by law tell them why if it does not effect a safety issue.
I worked for Transport America for 3 days. I list it. It has never caused me problems.
Never be ashamed of your past. Your greatest lessons are learned from your greastest mistakes.TheJrodTest Thanks this.
