I dont think they are the wrong tires. He just used that as an excuse to not replace it.
And if so,.. well then yes of course. They owe me 3 new 'Correct' tires.
If I cant get this resolved Monday I'll just buy a new tire and turn it over to my wife.
She's retired LEO. Was a detective for 8 years in Fla. Now does PI work, part time asset protection for Sears/Kmart and does security consulting for various retail outlets and helps in fraud investigations.
So if Loves thinks I'm a push over,.. they havent seen anything till they get my little 5'1 greek tempered little woman from NYC on their case. She'll know exactly how to handle this. I only briefly explained to her what was going on. I wanted her to think I could handle this. I guess I'll know if I can or not come Monday.
She's sleep now so I came here on TTR to vent.
Thanks guys.
Hurst

Whelp, 31 yrs married to a 4'11" Italian/American Indian, so I understand fully! Poor tire shop!
Hurst and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
I am married to a 4'11 100% irish girl from south Boston (who's father was a Boston cop for 28 years) I keep things well documented. I haven't felt the need to unleash her on any one yet. But when that day comes I feel bad for the person who crosses me LOL

Read somewhere with regards to consumer complaints that getting the (respective state) Attorney General involved in an unsettled dispute is something most businesses would prefer to avoid. Imperitive to have documentation (written correspondence between both parties) if necessary to take this option. It is after all a safety issue to the public if nothing else.
Hurst, bullhaulerswife and Mr.X Thank this. -
Hurst, take pictures and send those with your complaint.
We had a Dr's office here put a woman's annual exam on my husbands account. I tried for over two years to get them to remove the charges, but they refused, so I got the Atty generals office on it and within a month or two they were writing us a check for what we had overpaid on all her stuff they were attaching to his account. -

Get a load back to the Loves where you bought them. If you have your receipt great. If not they have it in the computer.
