Not sure if this is a good idea after all. Inverter to block heater

    Why not use shutoff valves to isolate them in that situation?

    Cause that would be to easy and simple. Thermoking doesn't like simple and easy. Complicated and problematic makes the bottom line much more attractive.

    AFAIK a block heater draws around 1500 watts to run. I now my old 2600 watt generator wouldnt run my block heater and a 1000 watt space heater at the same time.

    Yep.

    We had a Carrier rep install an APU on a truck. Something happened to a coolant line for the APU....I think it got caught on something and got ripped off. Drained the engine coolant.
