Not sure this is the right career for me

    Many drivers agree the time sharing the truck with their trainer was the hardest period of trucking. I think Prime is one of the best companies for newbies, meaning the time with the trainer gives plenty of time to give the student real-life training. But, their training period is so long many newbies have difficulty completing it. Please don't quit before you have had a few months solo.

    Use your phone to stay in contact with groups and people to help with loneliness.

    It will get better once you get off of the trainers truck. Really. If your intent is more schooling, no better place then on the truck to do your general ed courses at an online college. Pay cash for that part and continue to save money for the final 2 years. This job is not for everyone, no shame in that. But you can use this job for a springboard to your next career.
