    I heard that US Xpress is buying Danny Herman Trucking. Also heard that there are over 250 of the Danny Herman Trailers at the US Xpress Terminal in Tunnel Hill, GA.

    Does anyone know if there is any truth to this ??

    Best guess is not true...

    Stock is down. Just sold xpress global (the company across the parking lot at t-hill) Just posted a 3rd quarter loss...

    I thought they sold that years ago ?? I was hoping that someone that drives for them would jump in here and say it the 250 plus Danny Herman trailers are in fact there in Tunnel Hill.

    Rumors. How interesting.

    What you really want is the Securities filing by the company you are interested in learning, those happen every quarter OR on a major Merger, purchase or being bought or hostile take over etc. They will help you see whats happening if anything.

    Tunnel Hill is pretty strategic. I wonder if those 250 trucks are part of a pending move.

    I have never done a search like that. I use it drive for DHT and still have friends working there. Just trying to get some insight on if the rumors are true. I would think if DHT does in fact have 250 plus trailers over there that this could be true.

    One day Falcon disappeared from I-81, they were thick around I think Toms Brook. Always overflowing with Falcon.

    Next day nothing. zip nada. I checked the friday filings that week and it turned out they were bought lock stock and barrel more or less.

    Its more checking to be sure the power company holding a bit of stock, maybe a few thousand at 6.00 a share would do well next three months checking on their filings. We sold those at 30 plus a share so... it was a nice little haul for 9 months waiting.

    Any chance you can look at the same source you speak of to see if there is any info on USX/DHT ?

    Its really hard to get through the boiler plate and implied truths known only to those in power etc. But there they be. IF you soak in it long enough you will see where they are at.
