Anyone know either where to get the above fridge at a decent price, or a replacement that fits in the same opening? Been told WS don't use that fridge anymore, so wonder what the replacement one is?
Nova Kool say they will repair the fridge (under warranty), if we send it to Canada for them! This can be done of course, but with this being our busy time, being without a fridge is a no go for me.
It does cool, to @50 degrees inside when the t/stat is on the coldest setting. The t/stat clicks when you turn it back to number 5 of 7 on the dial. So it is cooling, and the t/stat is working, but either there is a refrigerant issue, or there is a circulation issue.
Thoughts?

Fridge in my truck came from Custom Day Cabs in Sioux Falls. It was a fridge they took out of a truck to make into a day cab.

Get the measurements and look for something that will fit, or send that one in while you use a thermo-electric or a cooler.
I have had working refrigerators and haven't had one that worked for quite a while; the last one that worked may have been in a Western Star. -
Martin, pick up a Coleman to use in the meantime and send it out to get fixed. Then u can sell the Coleman. Always a guy looking for a cooler

can a good appliance store here in the US fix it?

Warranty will probably replace it with new, we treated them as throwaways, though the kind of money they want for those things is unreal.
If one quit, and the driver was persistent enogh to demand a working one, they usually opted for used and working if one could be located,.
One of our drivers bought his own and the shop put it in for him, I wouldn't have bothered for me. Gotta throw my Coleman back in the truck and head out. -
Your truck is brand new... I would be having the dealership give you a replacement for no cost to you.

Thanks guys.
Daimler said they cant do anything, but the one guy did try to get me a replacement FOC.
The manufacturer is the one who carries the warranty, and their policy is RTB with them paying shipping both ways.
I sent them an email telling them of the problems, and a tech guy from there called me the very next day. Looks like there is moisture getting into the fridge after some over the fone testing. Going to wash the door seal with warm water this weekend. I followed some of his advise, and the fridge is already down to 42 degrees, so an improvement. P'd off the dealership that Daimler wouldn't just replace it, and the manufacturer has a RTB warranty, but nothing they can do neither. Price of saving @$50k on the price of the truck maybe?
Will update next week, going to defrost it today then do the door seal thing.

Is there room for the residual heat to get out from behind and in top of it ? Maybe like a pc fan or something would help move the heat away. Also, after cleaning the door seal a light coating of petroleum jelly always helps fridge and freezer doors seal more effectively.
