Now he’s getting a Jeep and stinger

It makes no sense for there to be an entire thread about how much you guys dislike a guy for making his best effort at progress through an industry. Is he scamming putting, causing accidents, or mistreating people?

Lots of jealousy and envy in this thread.

 

I give him alot of credit. He progressed through a few short years all on his own. Inspirational.

 

Who are you to question anything? He doesn't owe you an explanation on where the money came from. Maybe Grandma left him a big inheritance and this is how he's spending part of it. Doesn't matter. If you don't like him or his videos then move along and don't watch. Pretty easy fix. No need to sit around bashing someone else to make yourself feel better.

 

1sr He argued that a heavy haul tractor should have a fast rear gear to save fuel because of all the mt miles that deserves verbal abuse......

2nd. He gets caught in my state 20k over his permit.....$1500 fine and oos for 2 days

3rd I don’t appreciate Eastern European types coming thru Canada and hauling down here and driving down rates.

4th maybe it ain’t grannie’s money

5th we need a wall at the northern border

perhaps an admonition should have been rendered for the tone of the first post?
Perhaps an an understanding of the angst the subject causes amongst members who actually understand and do the job?

 

1) No one deserves verbal abuse and if you think they do then you're part of the problem.

2) Let anyone that has never made a mistake in their life throw the 1st Stone

3) Unless you have actual proof he's doing this then this is an Ignorant statement.

4) Maybe it's none of your business.

I'm not defending this guy but to sit here and keep bashing him is incredibly childish. Now if he's doing something wrong that could be a learning moment, then let those with experience comment about it to show the rest of us what he's doing wrong. Otherwise why not just leave him be. Let him do his thing. He'll either figure it out and be successful or he'll fail.

 

I was referring to the tone in the RStewart post and the direct response from catsdp

while I am sure both are upstanding long term members - only one had demonstrated by posting history and understanding of the HH industry and the issues surrounding it.

Normally, I try and stay out of this kind of interaction but in this case I have to say something. I don’t know the the subject of this thread and have interest in him personally. I did offer an explanation early in his posting here about why what he was proposing wouldn’t work the way he thought. He blew me off and learned by doing - fine. But to encourage his distribution of vast HH knowledge is not OK. So if we point out, even through the use of sarcasm and derision, his shortcomings perhaps it encourages someone else to look for more reliable sources of HH information. There are way too many guys running junk equipment on a shoestrings with not enough foundational experience already.
