I dont think Captain is going to have the dealer ever grease his truck again... $1100 for Oil change/grease job.

No way am I paying a dealer $140/hr to walk around with a $3 tube of grease hitting all my zerks...

    I'll gladly do that myself!!!

For all the more mechanical ability as that guys has, it's prolly money well spent having someone else working on his equipment. Cause he sure don't know what he's looking at under there!
I gotta give him credit for making things happen. He's got a lot of drive and determination in him.
However as the "you-tube heavy haul professional" that represents us to thousands of people that don't know any better...
    It pisses me off.

Myself, I've found that most people on Youtube are just trying to put on a show for validation. 98% of "Youtube Truckers" don't have a clue.

I've been away from TTR for a while now, made me smile when I read the title of this thread, was pretty sure who it was about, opened it up and I was right!

man i cant tell you how glad i am to see this thread. i was starting to think i was the only one.

The engine heater comments were my favourite. he says he doesnt know why he bought it, doesnt know how to work it then says it must be a control to turn on the bunk heat. even my ol' lady was swearing at him.

my second favourite: its so cold in Minot,ND im going to wrap a plastic shopping bag around my fuel filter. perhaps a winter front might help? oh no you belive its because of the front fender piece you removed that there is to much cold air....right.... i also have a t880 with the X15 and a...wait for it....a winter front and some fuel treatment.

i seen him in manitoba on his first scraper run, like a typical Euro Trash, no radio on.

i only pull up to a 3 axle RGN and mabey im crazy, but if you can afford to run toronto - calgary empty for a load then baltimore- calgary empty for a load, im sure your cutting more then your own throat and its no wounder we head back to John deere country empty or with LTL from ontario with crap like this running around.

Much like for Justin Bieber , I would like to apologise on behalf of the Canadian government.
