Can anyone make some recommendations as to some tanker companies (in the Northeast Ga area) that pay well, little bs to deal with, and have "job forgiveness" (too many jobs in a short period of time)? Company I went back to in May hauls a dedicated product for a company out of Norcross GA. Their work has slowed wayyyy down to the point they took one of our trailers out of the lineup. Actually this all started as soon as I came back but I figured it was just a lull that comes around every now and then. But this has been going on for 3 months now and the people we haul for want to cut back to 3 drivers.
My company does not want to fire any of us so they are trying to rotate us through the loads but I still sit at home for 1-2 weeks waiting to go back out. Fortunately I have been able to drum up some electrical side work here and there to get me through but this is getting ridiculous and it is not going to get better any time soon according to the people we haul for.
When the lady at my company called me back in May and asked me if I wanted to come back I told here that is why I quit the first time was lack of work for the most part. Hind sight is 20/20. If I try and stick it out here until I get my job record back on track I may go bankrupt. Not sure what to do.
Now what?

Not too long ago I was looking for a better job and talked to Rodgers Cartage. They were about to raise mileage pay and were in need of drivers in the Mobile area. I ended up going back to my previous company, but would consider Rodgers again, if needed. Don't know if they are in Georgia...
