NRG transportation/ Duplooy farm and trucking

Very bad place to work, I drove for them for 7 months. 5-6 hour deadhead, doesn’t have loads pre-planned, they promise drivers 1500 a week, good luck getting that. I made on average $800 a week. Last straw was, my truck broke down in Abilene TX, Dpf crap, anyway, they brought me a spare truck, pile of s***, driver that brought it to me was using the floor as his ashtray, I’m very allergic to cigarette smoke and told them that, I tried to deliver the load, but sleeping in that truck, I woke up very sick, told em I was dropping the trailer and going home. They sent someone to pick up the trailer and also retrieve the truck, they don’t care about drivers. Don’t go to work for this place, it’s owned by South Africans now. Terrible company
