NTP warranty, Penske Truck

    Please understand this, they have thousands and thousands of trucks and those trucks are making them money no matter what they do, but they get rid of trucks for a couple of reasons with the majority of the time it is because of their accounting policies, nothing more.

    Once the truck reaches triggers of the metrics they set in policy, it gets removed out of the general fleet and into a sales fleet where it is sold. Some trucks they give away, others they make a good profit but it is all done on a computer.

    It doesn't change the fact that so many customers have such a poor experience with Penske trucks. They never meet a salesperson in person. When theycall Penske because a truck was delivered with an active CEL or their truck derated while driving to pick up a first load, no one at Penske can be reached.

    Call it what you want, but if those trucks were worth keeping on the road, Penske would've getting rid of them.
