nuvi 465T - GPS navigation for trucks

I guess I will be the second to report I like the Garmin Nuvi 465T. I purchased mine about a month ago and use it every day. I had the Garmin Nuvi 660 before, in fact two of them. Right now I am running both side by side. There are few differences in the routing between the two. Are they perfect, no, they are just one additional tool available. They fill in gaps that exist in MCRA, qualcomm directions, phone directions and verbal direction from other drivers.

 

Any Nuvi will do this if you have it set to Bicycle. Wanna bet your is set to bicycle too?

 

I just got my Garmin this week 465T

Is there any way to increase the notification distance for scales? At this point its only 4-5 miles. this is a bit short if I need to get off a exit ramp

No, there's no option for that.

 

For its and giggles, does anyone have a custom icon, besides the T600 bobtail in the d/l garage, for their Garmin?

 

I've been using the skeleton hand but poke around and see what it uses for the icon file and you can probably make it use anything you want.

 

had this garmin 465 for 3 days, i need it for everywhere,off of 90, 212 in SD WY MT its was 20 miles ahead of us and the speed limit was 7 miles over from acutual, it posted speed limit for cars, where trucks are 10 lower, half the time scale alerts didnt alarm, no city posting at a stop.............I am taking it back
