NYC/Queens routing......

It's been a few years since I was there, but Linden Blvd. is a "local" truck route, not really a "thru" truck route. ie: it's semi-safe... no pun intended. I went thru on it myself, about 4 years ago. Almost exactly the way you are stating.

 

I had a junk mail drop at a post office off linden years back and it was truck friendly then ....well at least by nyc standards lol

 

@bzinger .... correct me if i'm wrong.... isn't it "one way" for a little minute coming off at exit 3?
I'm old, memory fails, but.... i think so.

OP..... Isn't exit 3 Perth Amboy? That's where i got off and ran the Linden Blvd .... its a lot of 2 lanes, but it sure gets you there.

@bzinger i'm assigned to QA from the mods ... kinda like AA ..... since I messed up Six's thread chatting with JohnDeere, LoL. Wasn't that funny tho? I almost hate an extra day off. I get bored and bug YOU guys when the wife is at work~ I should be "doing something" but hey, I AM!

ps: QA is "quoters anonymous"..... I had 3 mods explaining what I did wrong and I STILL didn't get it. #####... at least I can drive!!!!! HA~!

pss: I can't find it anywhere, but I really think exit 3 is one way for awhile. Wish I knew. Just hope OP doesn't go WEST!
