Looking at the NYC truck which everyone tells me to get but it's confusing because on the map there are low bridge markings on the truck routes. For example one of the low bridge markings is on Linden Blvd near Linwood in Brooklyn but when looking on Google maps there's a semi truck w presumably a 13'6 dry van going under it. I know the signs are mismarked but I take it the trucker map everyone on here says to download is mismarked as well and some of the low clearances are actually G2G ?

I've thought about what you're asking many times. There's a bunch of people on here who can answer. NYC and the mismarked clearances really stress me out.

That bridge is marked 13'0", and when you add the extra 12" that NY ALWAYS marks lower, it's a 14'0" clearance; no surprise there. Also, in NYC, it CAN be a "truck route" with a 12'0" clearance, which means it is a good route for TRUCKS less than that height. You will notice that local delivery trailers are rarely any higher....
