I Did not ask for Anyone of your opinion but your entitled, I ASKED IF ANYONE WANTED TO DO A SLOW ROLL TO BRING AWARENESS ABOUT THE LOW FREIGHT RATES. SOME OF YOU DRIVERS ARE NOT VERY NICE,I AM TRYING TO SAY IT NICE EVEN THOU I HAVE A FOUL MOUTH AN NOT WANTING TO CHALLENGE THE RULES ON HERE RIGHT NOW.

GOOD FOR YOU IF YOU ARE HAULING AN MAKING MONEY. Here's my HATS OFF AN pat on the back for you ,I guess if i was hauling what your hauling i would be making money to right. WE ARE NOT MAKING GOOD MONEY,WE ARE NOT LAZY AN NOT AFRAID TO WORK OR TO RUN,AN I MEAN RUN.
THAT IS THE POINT,YES WE DO SPOT MARKET,NO WE HAVE NOT LANDED ANY DIRECT YET CUZ WE ONLY HAVE ONE TRUCK IS THE EXCUSE BUT WE STILL KEEP TRYING(an everyone is so secretive to help out another carrier due to competition)MAYBE IF PEOPLE WERE WILLING TO HELP OUT AN LET ONE ANOTHER KNOW HOW TO DO SOMETHING ..YOU WOULDN'T HAVE OTHERS CHASING CHEAP FREIGHT AN DRIVING RATES DOWN .I COULD GROW IF I COULD GET FREIGHT AN GOOD RATES .
I DID NOT ASK ANY OF YOU IF I RUN MY BUSINESS CORRECTLY TO YOUR STANDARDS.WE AN A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE JUST CANT GET A HEAD WITH RATES AS THEY HAVE BEEN FOR THE LAST PAST YEAR,I GOT AHEAD LOCALLY MUST OF DONE SOMETHING RIGHT. NO I DO NOT SPEND FOOLISHLY,WE DO NOT DRINK (yes i miss it),WE DO NOT DO DRUGS,WE DO NOT GAMBLE.MY TRUCK IS NOT ALL PIMPED OUT IT IS STOCK. MY BIKE IS STOCK, MY PICKUP IS OLD.MY WOMEN WORKS ,MAYBE I SHOULD HAUL CHEAP FREIGHT LIKE SOME OF YOU.
MAYBE I SHOULD BE PART OF THE PROBLEM,INSTEAD OF THE SOLUTION'S.MAYBE I AN THE OTHER THOUSANDS WHO USE LOAD BOARDS ARE WRONG.AND SHOULD HAUL THAT 50 CENT A MILE TO A DOLLAR A MILE LOAD.YES I SHOULD HAVE STAYED LOCAL I WAS DOING GOOD(BUT THOUGHT I COULD IMPROVE),
NO I SHOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT A DIFFERENT TRUCK,AN GOT AUTHORITY LAST YEAR.IT WAS ALL FREE AN CLEAR AN PAID FOR WITH CASH MONEY AN NOTHING OWED,TILL FREIGHT CAME DOWN. AN THE TRUCK HAD A BAD EXHAUST VALVE AN REAR DRIVE ,AN COULDN'T GO OUT TO FAR FROM HOME.I HAVE BEEN AROUND TRUCKING IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER SINCE 1979.NO I DO NOT KNOW IT ALL, YES I HAVE EXPERIENCE, YES I HAVE RAN OTHER BUSINESSES SUCCESSFULLY OF MINE AN THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST.I DO NOT CONTROL THE RATES OUT THERE THAT THE BROKERS POST. I WILL NOT HAUL CHEAP FREIGHT, BUT I THINK I WILL START ON MONDAY .IF IT WAS ME SETTING LOW RATES ALL YEAR, NOT JUST NOW WITH THE COVID, I WOULD OWN MY MISTAKES AN ACTIONS .SO YOU ALL CAN SHUT UP N KEEP IT TO YOURSELF,IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY SHUT UP,
AN NO I DO NOT THINK ANYONE OWES ME ANYTHING,SINCE I AM FROM MN,THE MASSACHUSETTS OF THE MIDWEST,ROLLING MY EYES.................I AM 50 YEARS OLD,BEEN THOU A LOT OF BAD STUFF PERSONALLY,MORE THEN THE AVERAGE MAN AN SEEN A LOT OF HORRIBLE STUFF.BUT SOME YOU DRIVERS ARE SOMETHING,SURE MISS ALOT OF THE OLD SCHOOL DRIVERS ,WHO HAD A GOOD HEAD ON THERE SHOULDERS.FIGHT FOR YOUR INDUSTRY.JUST CUZ ITS GOING WELL FOR YOU NOW, IT COULD GO BAD TOO.AS FAR AS PARADING AROUND IN FARGO WITH OIL TRUCKS CUZ THE OIL TOOK A DUMP, DO WHAT YOU WANT, BUT I WOULD THINK YOU MADE A LOT OF MONEY IN THE OIL BEFORE IT ALL FELL APART AN YOUR SITTING OK.THERE IS MONEY IN OIL WE ALL KNOW THIS.

One of the protesters in DC is leasing parking spot next to me. Last year when he got 2 brand new trucks and trailers (at inflated prices) I told him he’s got bigger cojones than I do. The rest is a history...

My trucks been parked for 3 weeks now. I’m going to start telling people it’s because I’m protesting the evil brokers that some people choose to haul for. That sounds so much more noble than it’s parked because I’m remodeling a house.

I guess I may not be the best person to talk to about freight rates and brokers. There will always be cheap freight and conniving brokers. On a more positive note there are plenty of honest brokers out here doing a good job and running their own business like the rest of us. Business is not easy whether it be trucking or food service. Many times we have to make tough decisions based on incomplete or inaccurate information.

We will always have competition in trucking. Every business has a competitor. Sam's Club vs. Costco. Werner vs. Swift. Competition is good for business in a free market. I am in this racket to make money just like everyone else. This business is not about being fair to everyone so each business survives financially. That would be crazy. Werner and Swift don't pass trade secrets back and forth when one is struggling. No, Werner is going to kick Swift while they are down and do what they can to fill the market void where Swift is struggling and take that business.

Sure I could use a fuel card, admittedly I'm not sure how they work, I've always assumed they are tied to either a credit card number or an account at the fuel card buisness that you keep money in. I could go get a Cabelas card and use the "cash back" bs to get "free guns and ammo," but thats just lying to yourself like every other credit card out there.

I used to buy on a credit card with cash back.
I got a fuel card a year n a half ago. Regional outfit for a fuel card company. Direct withdrawal like a EFS once a week from a checking account.

This is last weeks, from the week before.

Check into some type of fuel card. You’re leaving at least 20 and sometime upwards of 60 to 70 cents or more per gallon on the table paying cash.
