O/O help

I am a company driver for a small company...my boss has like 3 trucks and runs in an area I hate but I do it for the truck because he may do a lease purchase...its great as far as not dealing with all the big company BS one call and its all laid out every load besides typical issues...I have the intentions on lease purchasing this truck but I may have some issues between my boss and I as far as territory and a few other things...his management is fair at best and his accountant should be thrown over a bridge...3 weeks to get a response on my paycheck! Anyhow, I am just prospecting in the future for other possibilities...My goal is to keep this truck or find one just like it..its a volvo 780 ..with the table..I LOVE the table may seem like a small thing but for me I want it...Very few trucks have this table and not to mention its quite homy now that I've been driving in it. If I cant lease purchase or things fall through how do I go on without a truck? And even possibly without a boss? I cant...A side note...dont I need revenue in order to have a better chance to get a loan?...My short term dream is to get a matching truck and trailer...get my authority...and run with some known brokers I currently use...another thought was is it possible or could I do a rental as to where I can keep running in my ideal territory as I look for the truck I want.... generating revenue in the meantime then buy the truck I want and continue on...I have excellent credit yet I have no revenue and little down payment like $1-$2,000 ...i just want to move on yet I feel slightly stuck any help appreciated...I wont do anything but what I want to do...otherwise i'll just stay where I'm at...deal with the BS I aleady am used to and wait to get approved for either this truck or another but i'd feel better actually making a move?
