hi I’m an O/O based out of MA and I will be moving down south to TX soon so I’m wondering what do I need to do to transfer everything there ? How difficult would this be ? Or should I just keep the truck registered in MA ? Thanks in advance

I hope you are prepared for more than a cultural shock !! Texans claim everything is bigger in TX but that surely doesn’t mean it is better. I hop you have done a lot of homework. Yes I have a clue as to what I am saying. Western NY to South GA in 1996. No, I won’t be moving back to NY.

I actually have my own Dot # and will be getting the tx authority and will be doing just intrastate but I’m not sure of how the process is as far as changing my MA plates to TX and what kind of fees I have in front of me. Thank you

Did you check the rate of TX loads? I love Dallas and wanted to move there but the pay isn't that great compared to other places. Sadly TX will be a ruined state since all of the people that destroyed their own state are relocating to the best states like locusts.

I would check with OOIDA business service dept for the CORRECT answer. I dont mo the correct legal answer. But if it was me, I wouldn't spend money transferring anything. Until it was time for renewal. You have your authority customers/brokers dont care where your HQ is located.

The invaders are fast ruining it. “Paperwork Americans”

The New England guys I know are home every night.

In Texas, get ready to travel farther for less money. Per mile, and in total.

Unless you’re specializing in what Houston offers (tech like chemicals) then the other loads are north of IH20.

10 & 20 are where the USA ends. Coast to coast.

    Manufacturing is still Midwest.
