10/4 but it's the "chosen favorites" that I was commenting on. A lot of companies dispatch by "favorites" meanwhile a driver "just coming on" still has to pay their bills..new or not. But unfortunately that's prolly always going to be unavoidable.:biggrin_25521:

As far as height on the tractor on some single compartment trailers such as chemicals or asphalt or heavy #6 oil the discharge pipe inside the trailer that runs to the product valves outside draws from the rear when unloading, even the one at the front of the trailer so you need to be at least level on the trailer to get it to fully unload. Some guys run those riser blocks or whatever on there fifth wheels. I never had a problem with my truck with just regular old 24.5 rubber. A big advantage is a flattop sleeper and lower stacks and go easy on the wheelbase. Nothing like trying to get into a tight gas station during busy hours or even some of the loading facilities can be a pain with a long tractor. I didn't make a killing hauling gas hear in NY but it was enjoyable work and home almost every day.

Look at ACORD Trucking out of Chandler OK. They have all long WB and some spreads. They haul tanks and bottles, reefers and I think a drop or 2 with 260 in WB or more. Everyone I see is spotless.
