Hi, can someone tell me the requirements to get a load off of a load board? I mean in terms of MVR or DAC report, do they check that, and what are the general requirements for that?
Also do I need a certain amount of time/experience as a driver to get to get a load?
Thanks

Ther arnt any ,,, if your an o/o everthing would be a go just sign up to load board ,post your truck and wait for calls,,, or call them!!!!!!!
You will need to sign up with each broker,,, they send there packet to you,,, fill it out and email/ fax it back to them... and hit the road to the load!Fabulous Maximus, aiwiron and krpv Thank this. -

Do you have your authority? you are going to need that to sign up for their services. Once you're signed up and you're going to sign up with a broker in which you chose the note from you will need to have your federal employer ID number you are a tortilla your insurance submit as part of their carrier packet. Beware of some free load boards site the posting for loads are not current. Some brokers do required that's your DOT number have been active for 6 months .

Most brokers will dispatch a load after receipt of your CoA, I-9 and insurance certificate. They will require that you sign and return their broker contract before you deliver the load. This needs to be done once for each broker.
Most will not check your SAFER score data, but some will.
DAC information is irrelevant to an O/O with authority.
If you're considering getting your operating authority, then I would suggest paying OOIDA to handle the details for you so that you don't get in trouble and have the best opportunity for success. It's obvious that you do not have the necessary knowledge or experience to handle that on your own.
Yes I'm being blunt and I'm not going to apologize for it.
Seriously, spend a month or two searching and reading the threads regarding getting your own authority here on TTR. It will be an eye-opener.Fabulous Maximus, 70’Nova and krpv Thank this. -
Carrier packet does not ask for NPR or drivers SM CSA points. The basically want to verify that you have an active bots or tea active valid insurance for your vehicle in trailer in car go and you have a tax ID number that's all that's required to give a hoot about what you're driving records like but they will check your DOT safety score.
krpv Thanks this. -
So my MVR DAC doesn't really matter as long as I have my liability and cargo insurance? -
Na it's cool man I appreciate the feedback. I know OOIDA will process your application for moter carrier authority and broker authority for 700$, but they dont procees the intrastate permit, IFTA, and base plates as far as i understand.
What is the CoA? Thanks
whats safer score data? -
What is NPR or Drivers SM CSA points? I'm only familiar with dmv MVR and DAC. Is DOT safety score same as DAC? -
