Hey, that's what I'm here for, does anyone recommend any good companies for o/o teams or have any advice about what I can do to get those better rates?

If you don't ask you won't get. I would be surprise if any company is paying more than 1.75 to 2 pm. Under your own, I would be shocked if you couldn't get 2.50 to 3. But there is a lot that goes in on running your own ship. So you may net more leasing on to a carrier.

No as far as bonus money. Never Ever include bonus money. You can lose that for any number of reasons

Is anyone working at landstar? Keep hearing mixed reviews. Not excited to pay my own tolls/plates/permits and then give landstar 35% just to use their board. Especially when USA, CRST, and Interstate pay all those expenses plus higher percentages.

If running team I'd suggest running reefer, it runs pretty much 7 days a week 24/7.

When was the last time you heard of a usa, crst, or interstate driver pulling a high security high value load?

I'm not with landstar, I'm with a direct competitor, but the reality is they got the same customers and the same freight contracts we do and i would pretty much bet my left arm that a usa or crst truck has never even been in the gate at my better paying customers.

If you want to pull cherrios and canned soup go with crst or another big box mega carrier. If you want to pull sensitive products such as the guidance system for an aegis equipped destroyer go with a company like landstar. Which customer do you think pays more? Campbells soup or the united states navy?

You need a secret security clearance to pull those loads.

No #### sherlock. And it's really easy to get. Don't have a history of holding up liquor stores or hanging out with kgb or radical extremists.

It takes months to get a clearance and I think you need a company sponsor.
