I personally don't like pulling military equipment. On the HH side it's gotten beat down and it's a PIA. But there are lots of guys who think it's the bee's knees

No different than getting a twic card.

I am a better to have kind of guy. As long as the rate is profitable,.. my answer is usually "Yes,.. yes I can".

Some places are better than others. Small moves from say a national guard works well for me. Other places have been a PITA like you described.

Not having the keys to move the equipment on my deck if I dont have my weight right has always bothered me. Fortunately, I've always been spot on so far.

Your right. It takes a bit of time. Just like getting a twic card. So because its not instant access we should sign on with crst and pull cheerios? That's the logic? Really?

Toxic waste can kill you and explosives can blow up. There are risks to think about.

Keep thinking that. Just means more good paying loads for me. Serously tho, 99.9 percent of the stuff you need clearance for isn't dangerous. It just goes to sensitive locations. Armor decking for example..Just steel plate but because it goes into a nuclear shipyard it requires clearance, and pays fantastic.

Dirty, Difficult, or Dangerous. If you are willing to at least one of these three your income is enhanced.

You fill out a 140 page questionnaire where you answer a ton of questions about your past employment, financial situation, criminal history, foreign travel, and list all of your relatives. Takes about 8 hours if you are fast.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

I always say if you'll do the jobs no one wants, you'll never want for a job!
