4K as a team for gross or bring home? So your with Landstar now but looking at Bennett? We are currently with Crete. We make good but we have absolutely no experience with Load boards and we are nervous about the learning curve. There is ALOT to learn about the boards, lanes, dispatch, where to run, all the do’s and don’ts.

The $4000 is after deductions for insurance and fuel and is just a rough number. We usually do better than that but the totals have been getting lower the last few months. We just got off of home time and usually the last week out going home or the first week out coming off are the worst for revenue because we live in the Northwest and there is not a lot of freight up there for arms and ammunition. Also keep in mind that is only for two loads and those loads were not very long so we probably made more than you guys did and ran less than half the miles. We also have to pay for our own health insurance so keep that in mind. You will not be able to run arms and ammunition until you have your secret clearances and it can take six months or longer. If you would like, PM me and I will give you the information to contact our recruiter at Bennett. You don’t have to do flatbed if you don’t want to. We are also wary of learning the load boards at Landstar but lots of O/Os do well there.
