O/O vs Company driver, which to choose? New CDL holder

    Your own authority is a bad thought ! , you need to work for sumone for at least 2 years , I don't know of a Insurance company out there that will cover you either. look hard to get a start . Construction is a good place to start , dump work , road work , class b if you have too . trucking is not for everyone, I would also take sum real thought about working a lot of hours , little money , dot regulations , traffic ect.. Having a CDL is good to have , youll never be out of work . good luck
