    Good one way rates; if they get you something back at the same kind of money you're doing good.

    Idk "average" I know what I do and a couple other fellas do.

    Can't really go by the per mile rate when it comes to loads that deliver within 300 miles of the origin, especially in the northeast. You need to consider a minimum daily rate to the truck, regardless of the loaded miles. At least with dry van work, almost anywhere you go in the northeast, you're going to have trouble finding a back haul that has a rate that makes it worth bumping the dock for. That $5/mile, 300 mile load sounds great, but can quickly turn into a mediocre (by current standards) $750/day, $2.50/mile load when it takes you 2 days to get it loaded, off your truck, and get back into an area where you can get your next $5/mile load.

    Loose lips sink ships. I won't even talk about good locations for myself publicly and all I deal with is brokers.

    @Brettj3876

    Delete those invoices, unless of course you don’t want to do those loads for those rates any longer.

    I already suggested that to him in another thread. He thinks they have it on lockdown though.

    25 truck operation its contract freight nothing comes off a board and the left hand washes the right if you know what I mean. There's a reason tmc maverick and milton don't get the rates we do pulling crap pipe loads.

    Quality of service which is hard to come by.

    I did edit out tho.

    Won't post any pics like that anymore w/o blurring out the details. They weren't even the best rates :p keep those a secret

    I know people tend to exaggerate on the internet so had to back it up other wise some jack wit would say I'm bs'ing cus he's pulling for half the rate or whatever.

    Anywho thanks guys wasnt my wisest move.
