Nobody is going to just give you that information on a silver platter man. You gotta find a way to make it and carve out your own path for whatever works best for you. If you put something together, would you tell the next guy "hey man, this guy pays me great money to haul from here to here, it would work out great for you!!!" Next thing you know, what you have put together just went down the crapper. Start all over again.

I don't mind all of us providing general help to each other for how to get our money from the brokers and sticking together to change some things for the better... in the future.
But it's amazing how much free information some people want handed to them without investing money for training courses or investing their money and time in working the lanes from the bottom up.
I think we should all stick together to a certain point. No, I'm not kicking the guy in the nuts who originally started this thread, it's just he should reasonably expect limited explanations and answers.
Cheers -
no one asked for a silver platter. i have carved out a route that works for me. you were the wise guy, so i said sure ill take em. i am doing good so far and am trying to decide if i need to switch to refeer or? i am not intresed in prying info from you guys....except your pay averages on miles and where. if you don't want to say you go to los angles say west coast or just do what you did, and i laughed. if youre gonna be a baby don't answer the question.

Your fees you have agreed to haul for in my opinion are too low. Try inching them up a little with the brokers your using. A little bit at a time.
Especially if you set a track record for on time deliveries and no damage. It's time you get in there and tell'em what you have done and charge slightly more. I say slightly. Don't hit'em too hard in the 1st round. Wait 90 days and raise it hair. Keep repeating until they tell you "Oh Hell No!" Then you'll know where their line in the sand is that they will fight over.
You have to keep going until you find that line in the sand. Then fight some more, just wait a few weeks though. lol!!!! -
Flatbed so far this year I'm at $5.39/mi all miles all local farthest I've been is 200 miles from the house and been home every night one tarp load and no oversize yet!
