I deadhead 23% (over 10K miles) so far this year. For me spending weekend at home has a lot of value too. I am ready to go whatever distance, If I know that I'm home the next day. Be it 700 or even 1000 miles, if I can't find something reasonable to work with over the weekend. Deadheading like that I would prefer to avoid but I am not going to sit 2 days at some #### hole and eat Iron Skillet buffet.

What do you mean "all legal"? I've seen that term on this thread like three times already. Do you mean some loads are "illegal"?

Usually it refers to legal weight and dimensions, vs over size or over weight and having to buy permits.

Thank you Spyder. I thought that it was so obvious that maybe I was missing something.
