O/O which accounting soft you use to track expences?

    Would anyone who uses excel be willing to share a copy or a templete of what they use?
    I've worked up my own spreadsheet since I'm keeping the books for my boyfriend; I've just been wondering/worrying lately, maybe there's more I should be recording or recording it differently.
    He was a company driver before; so he never worried about more than his log book... now that he's o/o I want to make sure I'm recording everything we need.

    And a question...... coming out of the hole as a new O/O how much ( % ) should I take out of each check to cover all taxes until I get settled ?

    $500 a week has been suggested.
