Talking about companies not passing on the fuel discount I know Schneider only gives their owner/ops like .04 below cash price. I know as big of a company as they are they have to be getting a better fuel discount than that because the company I am leased on with only has about 300 trucks and the lowest discount I have got is .07 and the biggest is .48 cents below cash price. If my company gets that big of discounts then I am sure Schneider gets better than that and keeps it for themselves while only passing on the .04 to the person paying for the fuel.

his point was that YOU made the statement originally not him but you seemed to get mad when he made the statement which made no sense. Remember your original post? I've quoted it below for you in case you don't.

That's how it is where I'm leased on. 120 company trucks 50 o/o. I get my best discounts at Pilot/Flying J's and see anywhere from .06 to .40 cents (so far) off the cash price per gallon. No comdata transaction fees on fuel or the advances. $61 covers weekly bobtail, liab, work comp. That and fuel are what come out of my weekly gross. Paid practical miles decent surcharge .315 this week they provide tags, permits. Lots of big companies like Schneider dont offer half of that, pay less per mile, then pocket most of the contractor's fuel discount. And you know with the purchasing power of a fleet more than 100 times larger than where I'm at a minimum they get the same discount.
