    Howdy all just curious if anybody here works for oak harbor freight in the northwest. I wanted to know how they are to work for? Do the pay good with good benefits and treat their drivers good?

    They were union, probably still are. See them all the time in S.Ca. They went on strike a few years back.

    In Portland they are union but think they have been working without a contract for some time now, dont know where they are with that. I think they are all automatics also. Typical P&D stuff. I heard they fired management a couple years ago and replaced everyone.

    I don't but most of the drivers I've come across in Portland seem to have a good attitude and are usually always friendly. Equipment is pretty nice. Indicators that its not a totally crappy company to work for IMO.
