Oakley Transport, Lake Wales FL

Figured since I'm sitting I'd start a thread about teaming at Oakley. What can I say?? Wait wait and more waiting. Pretty easy pick up a preload in FL heading to CA. Problem is they give you 4 to 5 days to get there. You get there in 2 days and sit 2 days to live unload. Go to tank wash get washed. Pick up next load the next afternoon and head back to FL drop and hook then wait 1 or 2 days for ur preload. Allot of sitting guess wouldn't be bad if my days sitting were near the house.

 

Figure I'll put the last 2 weeks on here.
1st week Lake Wales, Fl (preload) to Anaheim, Ca (live unload). Visalia, Ca (live load) to auburndale, fl. (D&h) 5280 total mi
2nd week lake wales, fl (preload) to dinuba, ca (live unload). Visalia, ca (live ld) to auburndale, fl (d&h) 5309 total mi

 

.48 mile split with no tank experience. Get layover if waiting on a load after 24hrs 100 a day for solo not sure of teams just started teaming but I'll try and find out. Detention after 2 hrs 7.50 an hr. Pump off and on 25 bucks a piece. 50 bucks for Canada.

 

After sitting in ca since sat it was time to head for Los angles at 2 am for a trk and trl wash. Then off to oxnard for a pump off. Place wasn't the best of locations but they gave us free samples of their product which was cool. Dead headed up to Fresno for a new trl gasket then a trl wash out in vasila. Was hr and a half late for my pu. Switched drivers after loading and it seems as if ca closed every entrance ramp we needed. No detours it's find ur own way. Which lead to more closed roads just a nitemares. Hope you all have a good night.

 

Since I got time in Tucson. Getting a pm done at a shop. Real crappy place drivers lounge sucks. Nothing to drink. Ac don't work. 106 out. Shop says walk to IHOP get something to eat. Too me its way to hot to be walking out there I ain't from the desert.
