Truth! When I was regional I sat and waited for another load when I was early, but if I was late that Qualcomm was blowing up with pre plans. Yes dispatcher this 64mph truck is gonna move faster if you load me up with pre plans when I’m late. But you can be darn sure I’m gonna stop and read those pre plans and waste more of my time because your sending them as urgent. They probably don’t want you making anymore money.

Truck stop jammed right now. Indian guy just got out of his truck in the driveway. Nicely back, out of the way. Now the truck moves. Either autonomous, or another driver. Here he comes. Nope, neither. His dog is driving it to the pump. Wonder if he’s gonna fuel it too?
Oops...Wrong thread. Doh! -
I've noticed the earlier I get empty in the day the longer I'll sit waiting for a reload unless. Which is a complete 180 from how I expected it to work.
I find it funny how if I spread my clock out all week and expect to run recaps the following week I'll get a really short run come Friday/Saturday. But if I run balls to the wall all week, 11-12 hour days, putting 600 miles on the pavement every day... that last load when you have maybe 30 hours left is a 1700+ plus run that you'll have to either a) push it to make on time or b) deliver late due to your 70 and deliver Tuesday morning. Well guess who just screwed up their paycheck?Toomanybikes, IluvCATS and WesternPlains Thank this. -
