Mouthing happens when you go over, that claim that went around a few years ago saying that it would shut you down while driving is and was ridiculous, that would be a HUGE liability for the company as well as the elog maker

It was EXACTLY my point, a lot of us were born and raised in the mechanical/analog age, younger people were born and raised in a digital/wireless age, each segment has a much easier time working with what they are/were familiar with, besides, I wasn't arguing with you or anyone else, just pointing out the differences,,,,,, which you obviously missed.

So it just means now that it keeps everyone honest ? Although truck drivers are really really honest most of the time right?

We have had one ejection not too long ago, it passed the spot in space where the earth was 2 weeks previous. That was a pretty lucky near miss.

The space end of world scenarios that get me is a gamma ray focused from a nova in space. Supposidely it will strip the atmosphere from the planet that is in line of sight to the incoming strike. Leaving the other half on thin air.

Amen Justruckin2. Us intermodal drivers need some sort of exemption. Drive time is NOT the problem. Sitting in a port for hours and having to arrive hours in advance of their opening are just 2 of the issues. We need 1-2 more hours added to our HOS. We never know when we will run right through the terminal or when the longshoremen are putting on a "slowdown" because some top pick operator was told to quit texting and start taking some containers off of us. In the last 2 weeks, if I were on an ELD, I would have run out of hours in the terminal. I live 30 minutes away. One size fits all does not work.
