I've been unemployed for six months. I went from ROEHL (six months there) to a local P&D city job. Worked there for almost two years before I had to quit. Due to Sciatica. Crappy equipment and every unit I got to drive was crap. Clutching every day. 15 to 20 stops a day. Just tore my left leg, lower back, and left hip groin up. Workmens comp? HA! try collecting and proving it, a repetitive motion injury. But I figured it is better to go back on the road. Less stress I believe. Try doing city sometime. It will tear you up. Especially with a clutch that takes 50 to 75 ft. lbs to push down. and I was floating it all the time. Day cabs suck. If you are older and want to drive. Don't do city driving. Who would you suggest I drive with or go to to get back into regional. Around the Kansas City area and with opportunities. I mean a decent company van. I have 6 months O.T.R. and 2 yrs. city and local. Any suggestions? It's about the only option I have with this economy and my age 50
