Officially accepted to Athens Tech Commercial Truck Driving Course

Do they hire recent grads?

 

At this point they are at the bottom of the list. If I can't find what I am looking for right now I will start looking into Roehl, Crete, SNI van division, etc.

 

I will keep this short and sweet. Just got back from the DDS and now have both Hazmat and tanker endorsements on my license. Scored 97 on Hazmat and 100 on tanker. Dang it feels good to walk out of there with a Class A license and those endorsements. Game on now!

 

Filled out two applications at lunch today. One with Superior Carriers and another tanker company but I won't mention the name yet. Already heard back from the latter. The lady gave me all the details pay, benefits, training. She told me to call her back if I wanted to continue the process. No pressure. I told her I would discuss it with the other half and let her know something in a day or two. I am going to wait and see what happens with Superior Carriers first.

Superior got my application. The guy there says everything looks good but I have to provide a release letter from my neuro-surgeon before they can proceed any farther. Go Monday to take care of that. Hopefully the ball will start rolling faster at that point. It's going to be a long weekend!
