Okay so my friend got me a job hauling water, but I never hauled water before. I understand how to work the trailer for pulls and blows but am not familiar with the process of going to a rig or disposal process. The company is not going to train me whatsoever since they are under the belief that I have 3 years experience and 2 hauling water. Can any help or point me to videos of what the exact process to do. I have until Wednesday to learn then its sink or swim.

    Chibob Thanks this.

Um, if your friend said you had 2 yrs experience, have him show you. If not, you'll both look bad.

Wow. You do know that lying on your application about your qualifications can make you liable for damages or company losses suffered either directly or indirectly through your actions, right?

That was a really bad idea, especially considering there are a number of oilfield companies that hire water haulers without water hauling experience and are willing to train. I hope your buddy can show you everything you need to know, because if not, I don't see this going very well for you.

    Good luck man.

If you can't get your friend to show you the best thing you can do is quit while you are ahead. I haul to the rigs all week. It is simple, but if you don't know what you are doing you WILL screw up and cost major bucks to your company. You have to know the shallow end and deep end of the brine and fresh water pits, and you have to know how to keep from tearing that expensive liner. And when it comes to the disposal sites that too is simple - if you know what you are doing. If they put you on hauling production water, that is tricky. Don't fake it man or you will regret it!

I think that water is slippery and it slops around pretty good, You will need to drive very carefully, If you can't tell I have never hauled water, but the surge I hear is something to really watch because a full trailer will give the truck a lunge that is unpredictable! So I have heard. But like I said I have never hauled water. Good Luck.

Few things are worse than lying about your experience to get a job, especially a job in a high risk area of safety.
No amount of "crash course" training will bring you up to the 2 year experience level, as your employer believes you have.
You'll be discovered soon enough by your employer for your dishonesty , either before a major screwup or after.
    Quit while you're ahead.
